What does it matter that it's on MTV? I mean, I know MTV has a lot of crappy shows, but it's silly to look at it as the ultimate evil. Hating on MTV/MuchMusic is SO high school.

I dont hate mtv

I just know that a channel like that will not allow nudity/cursing/drugs. Besides, this show doesnt really fit in with all the other reality shows they have on there

OMG MUCHMUSIC!!!! i know that's a big thing up north, but here absolutely NO ONE knows what it is because it used to be only on air from like 11pm til 6am on some public access channel. i totally used to stay up all night just to watch it when i was younger and i loved it.

but also, no, hating MTV is not just high school. it's also for those of us who remember when MTV used to be about music.
shows like:
Total Request
TRL (when they played the WHOLE video)
SAY WHAT?
SAY WHAT? KARAOKE
Unplugged

and when it wasn't about music, there were INTELLIGENT SHOWS like:
Beavis and Butthead
Daria
2ge+her
Celebrity Death Match
The Head

but i don't really hate MTV, it's just sad that it's so different now.

MuchMusic went down the same route. It was great when it was owned by CHUM, but since CTV bought it out, its programming has been severely impaired. I miss Ed the Sock. He was great. They tend to gravitate more towards programing which kisses the ass of the "artists." They don't really show a lot of programming which critiques the music they play. BUT sometimes they play okay programing. And they always show good movies. Plus they're the only network I can watch Make it or Break it on.

For those reasons I can safely say... I don't hate networks like MTV and MuchMusic... I hate a lot of the programming... but I'm always really happy when they actually play decent stuff. It gives me some hope. Some mild hope.

i saw the cast and then i saw who plays cassie.
i was so disappointed.

that sucks, the route it went, i haven't seen it in forever. but of course, Canadians make better music in general.

if MTV would play Daria again, i'd be quite content. but i'm getting it on DVD. MAY ELEVENTH. i really stopped watching TV in general though, so i often miss those rare good programs.

How do you know which one that is?

The only ones i can be sure about are tony and michelle

it's pretty obvious

girl with the braid= cassie
guy with leather jacket=tony
redhead= michelle
short haired girl- jal
guy with the beanie- chris
yellow hoodie with blue jacket- anwar
now the other two
the guy could be either sid or maxxie, and the girl might be effy
unless they're changing one character and making him a girl

I heard they are making anwar a girl

Perhaps we do, and it'd be fine and dandy... but MuchMusic barely plays Canadian artists... they play them about as much as American music channels play 'em. They play the really popular stuff that gets some radio play in the US already (i.e. Hedley and Alexisonfire) but not much else. It's quite Americanized.
