The Music Video

Hahaha. I'm mixed about this. I think some parts are decent but I think considering how much effort everyone put into it, I'm sorta underwhelmed.
I guess for a first music video on behalf of the director and the band it's alright though.
The scenes with the band make it look really amateur though.

I DO however like the closeups of me putting on the jacket and me with the sword (2:06 & 2:31) , and I like the whole general cage scenes. Those bits looks professional, the rest though. I'm not sure.

Also, because of the bitcrushingness of youtube it's really static and pixellated. Maybe that makes it look more amateur than it is, but I dunno, haha...

wow. what a shit song. seriously. what happened to hard music? if i hear one of these "metal" bands rhyme "salvation" and "damnation" one more FUCKING time. this is why i stopped listening to it. it all sounds the same and this band is going nowhere. well, maybe. there are still those "hardcore" peeps who only started listening to metal like 5 seconds ago and think what they're hearing is brilliant. anyway, enough with the song.

it's okay? rather indie-looking. i think the shots of the band could've benefited from more lighting, not to make it brighter, but just to give it a professional feel. Avess, your parts were pretty good, they look like scenes stolen from some other music video spliced into some high school kids' project. i love the cold lighting on you, it worked really well. clearly the video was only made to promote you as a model. =p

I agree with this actually haha. The best shots were those that you were in; not only because you were in it, but because the shot was just better than the rest of it haha. But I think if the video would have had better quality, the video wouldn't have been as bad. But maybe thats me liking that vampire chick haha.
