I like the composition in this shot. After I sent my pictures to leigh I realized how much I didn't like the far away shots, so I'm beating myself up for sending them haha. Anyway, I think the closeness of the shot makes the shot have better quality, and my pose is more HipHop. Though it's an obvious pose haha.



I thought this shot would be chosen because the shoot was about movement, and in this shot it looks (albeit slightly) like I'm moving. Like, off of the screen haha. The reason I think it wasn't chosen was because of my legs. They look so short.

Avess: Your film was awesome this week! The connection with your eyes is outstanding. Even when you're not looking directly into the camera. The styling for your Aboriginal shoot was also amazing. I like the vibe it gives off. Makes me scared. Since it evokes feeling, it must be a good shot!

Chantal: Your Music shoot was fun! I like how you were in a different location in each frame. Your expression looks sincere and it's a different look than what I usually see from ya, I think haha. Kudos on that man! I don't know which frame was my favorite because they are all too damn good!

Jono: I'm sad ya dropped the competition. Grr! hahaha. Okay. I really like everything about your Music shoot. The styling is superb, and the set compliments your look. As for the Aboriginal shoot, I like the shots. But whenever I glance at the shots, it looks like the jacket tied around your pelvis is hiding a rather large penis. Like in the second shot I was like oh damns! hahaha.

Connan: I was 99.95% sure that you would get first call out this week! My bad for not believing ya :O But about the pictures, I really like the first shot. Maybe it's too feminine (I wouldn't know. If I could distinguish the difference between femininity and masculinity, I wouldn't be doing so poorly in this competition! haha), but I'm definitely digging the pose. What makes the shot look weird though is how the branches are floating around the backdrop. The blank wall makes you look a little too 2-D.

Jono really does look like he's packing some serious aboriginal heat.

& I thought the trees in Connan's shoot was wallpaper! So the film threw me through a loop.

Yeah. Most of my photos were like that b/c its not easy to combat my long/skinny limbs (even though I'm pretty much 5'4). I tried to break up the length of my limbs but it I guess bending my legs and arms didn't come out so graceful lol The rest of my film looked like this....

In the Music shot, I like the movement you have. Like you're walking out of the photo. It reminds me of the video to Take Me On. Hahaha. If only that were your given video.
