PHOTOSHOOT BRIEF #2!!

Hello Models!!

Well, I had some very interesting responses to the "triple-header" reference in the Tyra Mail!

It was, in fact, indicating that this week, you will have

THREE SHOOTS!

But if that sounds too scary for you, just think of it as a

THREE PAGE SPREAD!
Because that is essentially what it is.
And the theme?


MURDER!!!

The three shoots are:

1- Crime Scenes, INTM Cycle 1/ ANTM Cycle 8
2- Killers, INTM Cycle 2

And a new one!
3- Mugshots!


For this three page spread, I want you to draw inspiration from the film clip for Lady Gaga's Paparazzi:

Here is a quick run through of each individual shoot:

1- Crime Scenes: Pretty straight forward. You have been killed! Make it creepy and sexy. We want you to continue modeling, so give us some fierce eyes and killer poses (pun intended ) It must be clear how you were murdered. The methods will be posted down the bottom of the brief.

2- Killers: You have just killed the victim in Number 1. You are at the crime scene, so shoot in the same location, doesnt have to be the same angle or position though, the images will not be composited together. You will be either cleaning up the mess, standing over your victim proudly or leaving the crime scene, walking out the door. There is a very specific emotion I want you to convey and not everyone accomplished this last time. I want you to be evilly happy and proud that you have killed this person. A mischievous little smirk, perhaps. It must also be clear HOW you killed the victim.

3- Mugshots: Inspiration for this shoot came from 7:17-7:26 of the Paparazzi video. You have been caught by the police, arrested and put in jail and it is time for your mugshots! I want you to acknowledge the attitude of Lady Gaga in the video and I want the same thing from you. Kind of a non-apologetic, bad-ass air about you. Be playful. This shot must be from the stomach up, see 7:20. You will also be holding a black card in your hands, but this wont have a police department or a number or a name on it. I want you to come up with a funny slogan to write on your card. For example, "He deserved it". This shot MUST be greyscale/black and white and so should your styling. So no colourful orange shirts, for example. Do it against a white/beige or lightly coloured wall. There must also be height lines behind you, which you may photoshop in. Ask someone else if you dont have photoshop or dont know how.

FOR ALL SHOOTS:

- This is a FASHION SPREAD, so it is not just about your faces or your poses, it is about the PRODUCT. I want you to choose an accessory to be the focus of your shoot. Eg, sunglasses, shoes, ties, hats etc. And yes, you may use one I just mentioned. It shouldnt be the same accessory, but a line of three different ones.
- This is quite an edgy shoot so think VERY carefully about your choice of styling, lighting and makeup. It is meant to be a moody shot, so PLEASE adjust your contrast etc or shoot in darker lighting. It would not be appropriate for the Killer to be wearing a long flowing dress. Make your outfit edgy and rigid.
- I want you to really think about the character. Give them stories! It would be interesting to see not just HOW they were killed but WHY!

- You may submit 5 frames for each shoot, they dont all have to come at once.
- You have until Next FRIDAY! Including a Two-day grace period
- Nobody won the Tyra Mail! A few of you were close, though.

You need to PM me your Top 4 choices in order. First in, best dressed. YES I know there hasnt been an elimination yet. Dont worry, I am accommodating to that. You MAY NOT choose the same one you had in your original Cycle. Here they are:

Don't worry, Conan, I'm sure you'll do better this time around. Honestly, I didn't even think your original photo was as bad as the judges made it out to be.

Thanks Erik. This time I'll avoid oogly oogly and pretty pretty, and aim for a good intermediate lol although I must admit it would be ironic if I was eliminated twice on the same shoot lol

i've been working on covering a lady gaga song all morning (done now) but

this is either an omen or a... a... sign of prosperity. hmm. being lady gaga, and being me, it's probably an omen

i think it's too much to do considering we don't know which death we're supposed to do yet

can somebody photoshop height lines in for me if i send you my pics plleeaseee lol

i aint taken them yet like but just wondering when i do can somebody do so lol

also would the murderer shot and the mug shot photos, would you be wearing the same things? or can you get change your outfit? does that make sense?! probs not haha

Okay the rest of you don't know what you got yet either? I thought he was going to tell us right away. I was so scared the reason he didn't say anything was because I was eliminated. :\

The 5 frames thing means you dont have to send your crime scene, killer, and mugshot shoots all at once
