I did REALLY bad on my shoot, guys

This is really discouraging. I thought about the concepts all week, but then when i actually tried to carry them out, none of my ideas worked well on film. I spent the whole afternoon on it, I am exhausted and sore, and I don't even know if i have any USABLE shots, let alone great ones.

I'm gonna start editing what I have, but if I can't get anything out of it I might redo my shoot tomorrow. Ugh. The very thought makes me tired.

I think it's because i've been trying to take the shots myself. I think i'll get my boyfriend to work with me tomorrow. It'll be so much easier to get a good shot if I don't have to keep running back and forth between the camera and the set.

ARGH! How does everyone else feel about their shoots?

I'm with ya on that...I did fucking horrible! I'm so going home this week!

For incentive to do it again, i'll spoil what I had for y'all.

Murdered: I was sprawled out on the ground, trying to sell an itty bitty little black shoe. The shots don't look too bad, but they don't look professional or murdered at all.

Murderer: I was holding up an empty wine bottle, so in most of the shots i look more like a triumphant drunk than anything else. Doy.

Mugshot: My styling is really sloppy, I look like a white trash goth-mama. It's REALLY hard to sell shoes from the waist up, especially if you have to hold up a sign.

I am definitely redoing my shoot. Just tried to edit, and there's like 2 usable shots out of the bunch. Icky.

I think I did better than usual... and for me, it doesn't take much.

I'm about to get to work on my mugshot. Still haven't chosen my shots for my other two shoots, so I'm not quite sure how I did, but hopefully there's something good in there.

And Cozy, you're probably just being too self critical, you photograph like a flower.

Cozy I am sure you did / will do amazingly you take freaking GORGEOUS photo's! but I know what you mean I had SUCH like a big story and a good idea planned in my head then when I went to do it it was kind of a FAIL. so I am going to attempt to redo it tomorrow but if that doesnt work I am going to work with what I have!

Don't worry, you aren't the only one that struggled this week haha. I seriously cried in frustration during my Murderer shoot. I would've done a reshoot, but I was too pissed off and I just sent in what I had haha. Hopefully you're still in the competition this week though!

I'll spoil mine too. My mug shot I'm shooting today, the styling...I look like a Prada knockoff and the sets kinda boring...my murdered shot, im selling glasses but you can't tell because I don't look dead, I look like I'm having an orgasm waiting to die...its crap

i've done my shoots 3 times and i haven't been happy with all of them. i'm redoing them tonight again.

Besides Shaq. Thank you, Shaq. lol. Personally I quite liked my photos. Just don't stress yourselves out too much, try to have fun with the shoot. I know this competition is tougher than ever, but if you're feeling uncomfortable, you'll come off as uncomfortable. Just don't overly worry yourself, relax, and show 'em what yo momma gave ya! Plus it's the day of the deadline, so almost anything is better than penalty points. lol

Haha I liked two of my shoots. Just one of them I just wanted to shoot the brief repeatedly, burn it, and then bury the remnants.

I'm glad that you guys liked your shoots though haha I like looking at awesometastic pictures hahah

In order of favorites, I would say mine were: Mugshot, Killed, Killer
I love my mugshots! lol. The costuming was really fun.

but i'm not sending in my shoot until i like it.
