What do you guys think about....

...using animals for fashion? This photo by "anonymous" shows a bracelet made from a former living animal.....can you guess which animal this came from?

I love skins, furs and taxidermy especially, but safe in the knowledge that it was vintage, or recycled, or that the animal died of natural causes - I know a few small companies that do this.
I'm totally against the industry though. Tis cruel, very cruel.

yeah but if they see a picture of my arm/hand somewhere they would know it's me cause i'm the one with the blue leather bracelet in my hand.

But do you feel bad for the animal that died? Speaking of which..it wasn't a cow was it...

no it wasn't a cow, and no i don't. why would i? i didn't kill it, i just bought it.

this one's warmer and softer. i never thought ostriches would be so comfortable.

I'm totally agaisnt industry also. They use these animals mainly for their fur and then burn the bodies, they dont even use the meat. At least when cavemen wore fur they used the whole animal , plus they hunted , so the animal died naturally.

I'm not against leather though cuz the meat was used.

I'm against factories in general, why should animals have to be kept in those conditions? There should be more farms

i agree, ignoring the disgusting way in which most of the animals from most of these farms are killed, they live in terrible, horrible conditions. if you're gonna do it, catch it and kill it quick, but i'm still against that because the animal is just dying for fashion.

give me some road kill anyday. i was watching a thing about taxidermy, and although most places are based on hunting, a lot of places do taxidermy with roadkill and found animals which is good. but still. ot. sawrie
