i don't know how he does it, but as soon as i want to go for a piss, he's suddenly in the bathroom. and as soon as i want a shower, no matter how obscure the hour, he will randomly be in there having one of his famed 25 minute showers. i know women can sync up their periods if they live together - can guys sync up their pissing and cleaning habits?

you guys should just do it all together.

ugh i hate that! my housemate Alex showers from 8:05 until 8:30 in the morning, right when i'm getting ready, and I have to leave at 8:35. He showers EVERY morning. In the winter. And then he primps for a reaaaallly long time.

I even sent out a snarky email to everybody (because i'm the manager) and it did no good. Ever have to brush your teeth in the kitchen? Not fun.

that's infuriating cozy! avess did that sometimes when i had to go to work and he didn't have to do anything until 5pm. i'd get up to brush my teeth and he'd be having a shower. but only a few times.

I think I can explain this.

Jono secretes pheromones that alert Avess. In turn Avess consciously chooses to interupt Jono's urination pattern by claiming the restroom for himself. It's typical dominant behaviour. If he starts claiming your territory it's time to consider crating.

Yeah, see...right there? That's Avess trying to be dominant. Your calm submissive nature only fuels this behaviour. You need to be calm and assertive. Claim your space and let him know it's not ok. He'll pick up on your calm assertive energy.
